best oil for 2010 nismo Z?

The oil doesn't have to be synthetic. There have been many threads with tons of posts about what types of oil can be used in the Z - that's why I used the facepalm. The key is to use an API or ILSAC approved oil with the correct viscosity for the vehicle's operating conditions.

BTW, Nissan's ester oil is not a synthetic oil (it's supposedly a dino oil with ester additives).

This is the reason why so many threads exist on one topic... everybody here is an engineer. I am hoping no one comes across this thread looking for basic information as it looks like EVERYONE knows API or ILSAC approved oils are key for optimal performance in the 370Z. Thanks for the info.
