Just had my G3 intakes installed.

The car will NOT run lean just with these intakes installed, and a tune is not required. If you do a full setup, including long tube intakes, cat-back exhaust, with the addition of headers AND high flow cats, it will create a lean condition that should be tuned for. Without the combination of headers and high flow cats, the A/F ratios are safe.

Glad you jump in straitened us all out! LOL

One of the reasons I went with Stillens G3 intakes was because of the higher than average gains, and the locations of the filters, plus the fact that the filters were made by K&N didn’t hurt.

I have already decided to order my CBE from Stillen , had in mind the FI, CBE but they seemed too low for 18” stock wheels.

Also felt the Stillen CBE were designed closer to OEM design, that I did not take for granted, many of these other X, H duel strait pipe designs , have issues with drone and require large resonators to compensate for design issues at additional cost , just felt for me it was a matter of substance over style !

Plus I felt the Stillen gains were just as high and better documented!

I also felt it would be best to have continuity with intake and exhaust design.

Stillen also offered a better price and free shipping which also made the offer attractive for me.

Kinder late in the game, I’m just wondering if all of this CAI,CBE,HFC would be too loud for day to day driving”.

The mechanic from Nissan that installed my G3's said the same thing concerning the tune as you!

Well josh I've decided to throw my hat in with Stillen , so far the G3's intakes have worked as advertised. Once i install the Stillen CBE next week I'll decide on the HFC then I'll do a tune and go for a dyno!
