Barbade...got any updates for us? Also...SZ...wondering whether there is anyone/members out there that are also doing testing on this product?

I hit a little over 60K miles on my odometer a few weeks ago, havent had much time to drive the car around since ive been doing parts runs and hauling front clips around. Meaning I've had to use the truck,

On the Bright side I have started development on the HR Remote Mount Turbo System. (Mid Mount) so few months and this clutch will see some boosted abuse. and if it all goes well a lucky 370Z Owner will get a Sweet remote mount turbo kit to test and drive on before kits go in production ;)

:eekdance: Wohooo...if you're willing to ship to Guam, then I'm calling "SHOT GUN" on running that Turbo. Kit before production.

Thanks for the update Barbadae...BTW...how many miles have you put on this clutch?

:icon18: Since we're still an unincoporated Territory of the US of A...then you're deuce in line definately trumps my shotgun call...:roflpuke2: :roflpuke2: :roflpuke2:

Hey guys just hit 61K Miles on the car. drove it around for a bit today after work. I missed driving it around. haha. so far so good. that should put me at about 8K miles on the clutch and flywheel combo with absolutely no complaints.

aside note on the turbo kit. if you guys are willing to ship me your cars that sounds good to me. but lets see what the prototype will do on the 3.5L HR without VVL shall we? im shooting to make a street able kit that can be installed in a garage over the weekend. anyway I will start my own thread on that when the time comes and the prototype is tuned and running. I will post results.

wont be using a Garrett turbo, or a Mitsubishi turbo either ;)

Update, clutch is at 8500 Miles and held absolutely great, took the transmission off today to inspect everything. and CSC Clutch and Flywheel are holding flawlessly.

That's great news to hear...I've heard rumors that the six puck eats up the flywheel...Any confirmation on this?

********, I'll take pictures of it in a little bit. Flywheel looks like it barely was driven on. really the segmented design helps so much with dispensing Heat. even after all the clutch kicking and such i did to it. clutch still looks brand new. haha I was surprised there was damn near zero clutch dust.

after 8K Miles of hard abuse, this thing has allot of pad life, zero warping. thing is a champ. ready to see some boost from whoever buys it

VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! I see that the high 5 unsprung clutch didn't eat up that flywheel at all...so it would be safe to assume that thre 6puck sprung would hardly put a dent on the flywheel.... everything looks great after all this time and that abus you put on it.

Bardabe 12-04-2010 07:25 PM

I will keep you guys updated, this clutch at 8K Miles of hard abuse, will be going into a Twin Turbo HR. guy is in florida i asked him to keep me updated on it. ill let you guys know how it goes.
