I definitely agree with that. The Z does feel really great and is a well engineered vehicle. Heck, I may even end up keeping the 370z and getting a z06 as well or even an srt10 or acr viper. Really its up in the air and will most likely take a backseat to my next project car, so it'll be even longer before I make a decision... just going to enjoy the Z for now! :driving:

Wow! What resession? Everyone is talking about $10k turbos or just going out and buying a second car. I love my Z and may make some mods after my next deployment (plan to keep the Z until 2020 if gas is still availible). Do I wish that simple bolt-ons had more hp gains yes, but I'm not disappointed in what I get from the Z off the lot either.

Or when I walk into an IMAX, "Wow look at all these people in here who $10+ for movie tickets, some recession!" Just because we're in a recession doesn't mean you can't spend outside of your means, it's the American way! :usa::usa: |

those with jobs can still spend but there are more without jobs right now than ever before, and of course they are not in these forums.

The U.S. economy is still in recession. Many of us members are fortunate enough to have jobs that meets our ends. There are people out there that are laid off from their jobs and are having their lives turn upside down. Be happy that you are able to still enjoy your sports car(s) and going out to the movies.
Please don't be ignorant about the current economic situation. You only see what you want to see because the people suffering and strugling you glance past them. |

Not even close my friend. We had higher unemployment under Carter/Reagan than this and certainly MUCH more during the Great Deppression. |

I guess we started talking about how much money it costs to juice hp from our 370z's and that it doesn't seem worth it for the amount of hp freed to people with and without money and then to the current economic status. Still about money.

The price of bolt ons for gains in this car are more then others yes, but im looking at the total package price. To me that is HP, Looks, Sound, etc. The bolt ons you mentioned raise appeal on all those levels. The value is unmatched if you ask me. I have had to put 10-15k in evey car I have ever owned to get it to a point of balanced looks and performance. Plus I love the fact that this car does not have 100 different staged packages, from 100 different companies claming only 20 were built 600 HP+ blah blah blah like the Mustangs, Camaros, and Vettes. I want to turn heads from everyone not just gear heads. Anyway like I said all things taken in to consideration, IMO the price is not bad at all.
