I've never experienced this issue before, but I've seen threads about crunching noises from 5th to 6th. Maybe you just need to get used to having a 6th gear. But

I've never experienced this issue before, but I've seen threads about crunching noises from 5th to 6th. Maybe you just need to get used to having a 6th gear. But its a brand new car so if you are concerned I would take it to the dealer and see what they say. I do on the other hand find it harder to shift to 6th if I hold the shifter the way I do when going into 4th. Placing the palm of my hand on the left side of the ball and then going into 6th is much more effective from my experience.
