Quaife LSD

You will have to remove the seals for the install and there basically impossible to remove without damaging. Being you have a 2011 (pending mileage) your bearings should be ok.

Some LSD require shims. But my OSG didn't to do the tight tolerences they build them to. I can't comment on the pinoin height. But being I had a base model Z I did require different stub axle. Different LSD require different needs.

i nstalled the quaife and really you may need shims any time you replace the bearings sometimes you get lucky and stuf fits the same why it did when you took it out and sometimes you don't. Also SPOHN you have them backwards you don't need to take the seals out but you will have to replace the bearings

^ that's correct. I always get that backwards. The side bearings need replaced.

Now I just have to decide if I want to install it myself or let a professional do it...

they are non clutch type use a gl-5 75w-90 like redline, or just ask z1
