Just got back and I have a 'new' little tick from right hand camshaft area that is new?? its hot out but oil temps about 190. Its smooth but that

so you switched from a super thick oil to a super thin one i would expect it run smoother going from 50w down to rp30w(royal purple flows easier than almost all other 30w hence the enrgy conserving II rating)
