Default Oil Still Golden

My last oil change was done at 3700 miles with dino juice and i will be changing to synthetic at the next change, that's not going to change but today when i was getting gas i topped off the washer fluid and checked the oil real quick and to my amazement it was still very, very golden in color...I'm at 6500 mile's and i expected it to be a good bit darker but nope its a purdy gold still.

My last car was a Altima Coupe with the 3.5 and when i was at this point with that car the oil was already pretty black just like most of my other cars I've owned.

Is this normal with the 3.7 engine? I've almost always used Mobil 1 as my synthetic oil choice in my last four cars and just am starting to wonder if its the engine in my Z that's soo clean or if Mobil 1 goes black quickly or am i just going bonkers

p.s. I always change my oil at 3k miles and drive them pretty hard...I know i can go longer with synthetic but its a cheap trade off to keep my engine soaked in new/newer oil.
