I've tested VDC in the rain. With VDC on, I can get the vdc to activate when it detects wheelspin, and the slip light flashes. With VDC turned off however,

I've tested VDC in the rain. With VDC on, I can get the vdc to activate when it detects wheelspin, and the slip light flashes. With VDC turned off however, I can spin the tires in the wet without vdc cutting power. Also the slip light doesn't flash with VDC off.
