AN fitting movement / rotation on Oil Cooler Lines?

I guess I "could" do it if I had to. But, I just assumed that the lines provided by GTM are of the proper length already. Right?

I initially never knew the 2 lines supplied were supposed to be different lengths. As the ones I received were within one inch of each other in length.

I just took this from the GTM website:

(1) 55" S.S. Braided hose with 45 degree swivel ends (-8AN)
(1) 48" S.S. Braided hose with 45 degree swivel ends (-8AN)
