Is this whole cooler failure common and would it ruin your engine if you turned it off as soon as it happened?

I want to share my small finding on the lost of power as the oil temp gets higher

I did 4 pull back to back which started from 90 C up to 104C on my last dyno tune on Aug 3rd

dont ask why im losing all power after 6900 rpm ,, the ECU has been pulling timing since last fall, no matter what i tried , its always the same spot ( 6900+-50rpm)from 6850rpm at 28-29 ign timing down to 22-24 at 7500rpm

My stock 350Z used to pull fairly well on an S2000....
The 370Z has a much stronger motor wise then the 350... Sounds like you got a "friday car"
