VDC engaging under acceleration?

If the vdc is engaged, theres some slippage occurring that the sensor has been triggered though sometimes one doesn't think there's no slippage their might just be some. I've had

I've had this happen of idle merging onto a freeway from the light that controls traffic flow at rush hour... __________________
