LONGSHOT - For those of you who changed/removed Clutch Helper Spring?

I removed this spring from my 370z sport. It was right there next to the pedal, just one spring to remove, along with its bolt. It was super simple and

It was right there next to the pedal, just one spring to remove, along with its bolt. It was super simple and the feeling on the clutch is completely different - I've got no idea why the hell anyone put that spring there in the first place.
