OBDII Port Moved on MY2019

Just got myself a 2019 370z and noticed something odd about it. Nissan seems to have relocated the OBDII Port on it and used a little metal plate to cover

		Nissan 370Z Forum > Nissan 370Z Tech Area > Engine & Drivetrain

OBDII Port Moved on MY2019

Just got myself a 2019 370z and noticed something odd about it. Nissan seems to have relocated the OBDII Port on it and used a little metal plate to cover where it used to be (I had a 2009 before).

So now the port is over to the left of the clutch pedal.

Anyone with an idea on why they would do this?
