Hi Forum, Anyone try to remove the drone from short tails? I love the WOT sound, but between 3500-4K... i get the "Drone of Death". The DoD is almost painful.

Short Tails removing Drone (AAM Resonated)
Hi Forum,
Anyone try to remove the drone from short tails? I love the WOT sound, but between 3500-4K... i get the "Drone of Death". The DoD is almost painful. I have the motordyne TDX2 on my 350z nismo and these "Drone Canceling" capped resonators sparked my interest. I could not source the exact canisters that Motordyne uses, but I did find something similar. I ordered some t304 plate and 2.5" U bend so I can modify my AAM's to possibly bring the drone down. If you search the exhaust threads, there is one where a guy calculated the values, and added a dead-end pipe to cancel the drone. I was told there was no special equipment required to determine the necessary design for the addition.
