That looks very much like a fuel pressure damper. The fuel pressure regulator, in 99% of vehicles is located in the tank and is controlled by the ECU, not manifold

That looks very much like a fuel pressure damper. The fuel pressure regulator, in 99% of vehicles is located in the tank and is controlled by the ECU, not manifold vacuum. The fuel pressure damper simply prevents fuel pressure spikes.
