At what point do you stop because of high temperatures?

Or, you can suck it up and get a CSF that will last 2 yrs or so. LOL It's just a cost added into a turbo cars maintenance. Daily driving a modified car is not cheap.

They are a bit more than a bandaid from what I've noticed with mine.

I've been dealing with heat issues here in El Paso as well. Peak ambient temps for the past week and a half were at around 105°F to 110°F.

I had waterless coolant and hood vents and this was the temps I had just driving home by the time I pulled into the driveway: four dots from max, 237°F (coolant), and 240°F oil.

I am in the process of switching to distilled water + water wetter. So far, the initial test during the first flush with just water had way lower idle temps: 208°F coolant and 203°F oil temp. Just need to remember to switch to 50/50 for the winter.
