Default 4" heater hose

I recently got the heater hose kit from Z1 which is 4 hoses total. The three larger ones are pretty easy to find on the back of the engine/firewall.

Can anyone tell me where the little 4" hose with the slight elbow is located? Is it under the cover in the intake area or down below the valve cover area somewhere?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Somebody will probably jump in and tell you what you need to know. In the meantime, if you plan on doing your own work on your Z, download the FSM. It's a great resource. Link in my sig.

Thanks, I did download the manual from your link & read a lot of stuff I didn't know about my Z. It looked to me like it connects to the longer hose on the drivers side underneath the air box somewhere alongside/near the valve cover.

Hoping to get some confirmation before I start taking stuff apart looking for it. Appreciate your help...that manual will definitely come in handy!

Courtesy Parts also has exploded diagrams. It'll take a few clicks to get to what you want but the drawings are clear and have Nissan part numbers listed. I've never ordered from them so I don't know anything about prices, service, etc.
