Clutch suggestions?
My Z is still stock but planning on boost this summer. I had an action stage 3 on my previous 350z and it was great. I loved the bite. The chatter was a little rough but I didn’t mind. Im looking for a similar “feeling” clutch for my 370. I really want a nice bite and don’t mind a heavier pedal feel. I also want something reliable. I’ve heard the CSC deletes are prone to failure as much as if not more than stock so I’d probably just want a HD CSC... any recommendations and why would be appreciated. And yes I’ve read the other threads. I’m specifically considering speciality Z or a south bend clutch or something from a speed. Thanks

I use Z speed clutch and HD CSC ...works great ..I’m at 612hp/512tq with boosted performance kit ....I had the road race kit from Z1 but it was junk pressure plate was dragging and made it difficult to go in gear at a dead stop ....had same kit in my supercharged Z and it was doing the same thing but not as bad ....switched to the Z speed kit and been great since

Have the Zspeed Stage 3 kit + CMAK and love it, especially paired with the RJM pedal. Bite is aggressive, does a great job for me, and I like having the slave outside the bell housing if I ever need to replace it again.

ZSpeed will set you up with whatever you need and has great service. Joe is one of the most trusted vendors in the community.
I am running the Z1 Clutch/FW combo along with the ZSpeed HD CSC and it has been a perfect setup for me (just over 400 lb-ft wtq)... not to mention very affordable compared to many options.

Joe at Zspeed is the go to man for this. He really knows his stuff, and is very honest with customers about the way the car will drive/feel.

Z Speed Performance Southbend Stage 3 clutch kit or the Competition Clutch Stage 3 clutch kit matched with the Z Speed Performance billet steel flywheel. I used the Competition Clutch Stage 3 clutch kit and Z Speed Performance billet steel flywheel for over five years on a previous Z and held up very well with street duty and a whole lot of track duty. Just depends on what you plan to use your Z for? Do you plan to ever go to the track with your Z?
