Default Sudden clunk noise slowly turning left 2018 370Z

Hey guys. Got my 370Z last week. Love it.

Slight problem though. While turning left into my garage very slowly I heard once or twice a clunk under the right wheel area. It’s a brand new 2018 sexy 370z sport tech 6 speed manual.

Anything? Is this normal? I am a little worried.

There were some instances where shipping blocks were left in the springs and not removed before the vehicle was sold. The noise should not be normal on a brand new vehicle, so I would go back to the dealer and let them take a look at it...

Keep us posted to what you find...

I believe the spacers mentioned above are just on the front coils, so that the bottom of the air dam won't drag on/off carriers.

Definitely take the car in to the dealer!

Was it a full lock and slow turn? You'll get some noise/shuddering from the tires catching. It's common. Even Porsches do it.

I could have sworn that only the Nismo has the blocks in it. CRiZO probably has the right idea.

Only Nismo models have shipping blocks for the suspension. If turning very sharply at slow speeds then the noise is most likely caused by something known as Ackermann Angle.

Yes, almost full lock. Hey it’s my first time with a sports vehicle. I came from a Corolla Xrs. Not a lot of sports there.

Thanks for your reply. What do you mean “from the tires catching”? Excuse my ignorance.
