This would be my third one, 2 being factory, 1 being luke clutch product, 4th one being rjm now. I don't really beat on my car like that. I really think its from the city driving. I have faith in the RJM clutch pedal and master.i feel like this will solve our terrible drivability problem. My clutch is still stock! I replaced the clutch slave cylinder with the HD couple years ago.

I upgraded to the RJM master V2 and it is an improvement. Smoother linear motion and more adjustment. But I never had an issue with the original. Quite a few have with hard driving though.

I honestly starting to think its because of the city driving. With the way these clutch pedals are to begin with, and all that stop and go traffic.

I run both. I’m pleaded with the MC and the pedal. I replaced both units when I got my twin disk installed.

I installed the AFP adjustable clutch pedal mod from RJM Performance on my last Z and it is one of the best modifications you can do for a manual Z car and I highly recommend installing one. I notested it definitely makes improvements in clutch feel, your stroke length, overall firmness and pedal height. It will make a great improvement in any clutch type. I found great improvements in my competition clutch set up. Made my launches at the track much easier. 1st and 2nd shifts were made more faster and smoother.

Pedal arrived today! Took me about 2.5hr to install. With jacking the car up and pulling the wheel and getting setup. All in all, install was easy, just getting under the dash was tough. Im a 5'11 and 200 pounds bending and twist like a gymnastics and im one of those that's as flexible as a 2x4. Anyways install was a success. I ran into one hiccup with HD master cylinder the supplied bolts didnt wanna sit flush, when i tried mounting it, BUT after reading the instructions once again.... I had an early production 370z so I had to swap studs and went in mint!. Swapped sensors. Left it at "out of the box" afp and locked it down!. Its awesome.

First impression- clutch pedal pressure feels stiffer comparied to my stock whacky clutch master cylinder. started it up to make sure the car started after touching the sensors lol. Moved it up and down my driveway at first and it felt great! Like a better smoothier engagement point (obviously). Took it for a drive, went into every gear smooth and no jerky in 1st to 2nd. Took a side street and ripped 1st 2nd and 3rd and wow perfect Engagement.

Sorry I didn't take more pictures, But I was on a mission and fighting with day light. took the car to work and feels MINT! I'm going to drive around for a couple day and then go under dash to make sure everything is still where it should be. any questions ill try and help as best as I could! the product is built amazing!

Received mine today and just put it in and can confirm that it does make an improvement on the stock Exedy clutch. I admit that I was skeptical that this pedal would be an improvement. I thought that the stock clutch felt pretty good on it's own. But the RJM pedal feels a lot lighter than the stock and has a much smoother engagement as well.

The install is cramped under the dash but the instructions are clear and detailed and that helps make installation as easy as it can be.

My only concern after the installation and test drive is that the first 1/2" of clutch pedal movement feels soft like there is no resistance. I ordered the HD clevis and had taken up the master cylinder clevis slack just as specified in the instructions. There is no more slack to take because the MC is moving during that first 1/2". It is a very comfortable, linear feel after that point but it just doesn't have a good feel when you first put in the clutch or when you are coming off of it. I am planning on contacting RJM and see if they have anything to say about it.

If in not mistakin i think the 1/2" pedal motion at the top of the pedal stroke is normal. Its says it somewhere in his website. My RJM HD CMC stiffen up the pedal feel. Compaired to my stock CMC (which was on its way out) so I really don't have something to compair it to.
