You might try a very short drive with the actual air filters removed. Sometimes these reusable filters fail. The other issue might be ignition failing . A good engine scan

You might try a very short drive with the actual air filters removed. Sometimes these reusable filters fail. The other issue might be ignition failing . A good engine scan should show what systems are not up to snuff. A large vacuum leak could also be a culprit. I would go to a trusted technician rather than a tuner. Plus the tuner can't figure it out.
