ID1000cc Injectors Question, URGENT!

As shown in be picture, When installing the ID1000cc Injectors, are the little metal rings supposed to stay on the injector? The ones right above the green o-rings.. Only asking

As shown in be picture, When installing the ID1000cc Injectors, are the little metal rings supposed to stay on the injector? The ones right above the green o-rings..
