Any 2011+ owners have problems with Oil Consumption?

Yup, amsoil full synthetic signature series. I'll be sending in a sample to make sure it's frequent enough but the two changes I've done the oil looks as clear as when it went in. 10k really isn't bad especially with today's all roller assemblies and high grade oils, hell Honda is running 7500 on dinosaur oil.

Ok actually just ordered my analysis kit, I saved a qt of old oil after last change so I'll see how it looks to verify its good.

OP, it's normal for the oil to go down a little bit between oil changes. For example, when your oil is hot it's letting off vapor which then goes through your intake manifold, and into your combustion chamber to be burned.

Some manufacturers if not all have baffling in the valve cover(s) to catch the oil vapor so it drops back down into the sump and not go through the PCV system with the blow by gases to be burned.

For those that do not know, the PCV system replaced road draft tubes which just expelled blow by gases and oil vapor to the atmosphere.

I was 2 qts low after 2500 miles.... I think that is too excessive. But I got my oil changed the other day and we'll give her another chance and see if she burns again. So I wonder if an oil cooler would help my consumption? Or I wonder if these 2009-2010 370z's just have a flaw in the motor that Nissan never told us about?

Really? Every single euro is 10k mi now if not more as far as I'm aware but they all also require full synthetic and run large filters (and not some cheap *** blend synth). According to amsoil (not that I would push it this far) is the oil can actually do 25k or 1 year however the vq37 can only fit their 15k filter. So 10k is still well below the rated mi for the oil. Really when you think about it the filters job it to filter particles which on today's low drag, low scuff designs (all roller, no flat tapet etc) so not a lot of debris and it is the additives in oil that really break down so as long as the additives hold up (which are tons better today than ever before but you pay a premium for them) then the risk of premature wear is pretty low.

I'm curious to see my results, guess will find out.

When I left Mercedes, the 2015 Sprinters just got switched to a 20K OCI.
