So dumb question, in order to get to it, do I have to go under the car or is it on top just under the hood? I think I found

So dumb question, in order to get to it, do I have to go under the car or is it on top just under the hood? I think I found it on top and simple to get to but the new one is being a pain to get in place. I see there’s a similar looking one on the driver side also. Another thread is saying both the camshaft and crankshaft are on top. One on the driver side and the other on the passenger side. Anyone know which is which?
