Fixed p0011 but p0300 still here

The fix for my p0011 by changing my camshaft sprocket. Didn't need to change the solenoid but did anyway. The code is gone and the engine can rev over 2500

Default Fixed p0011 but p0300 still here

The fix for my p0011 by changing my camshaft sprocket. Didn't need to change the solenoid but did anyway. The code is gone and the engine can rev over 2500 now. But I still have the SES light and p0300 random misfire code. The engine is idling at 1100 rpm. If I clear it it idles normal and then minutes later it come backs. Dealer said to replace the ignition coil and spark plugs, did that. Nothing changed. Next on my list on parts to swap is the camshaft position sensor and a crankshaft position sensor. Anyone have any other recomendation. Other then the higher idle the car behaves as normal.

Usually a high idle means that there is a vacuum leak. If you can do a smoke test or try checking all vacuum lines for damaged or cracks. I don't know why the dealership told you to replace a coil and plug for a certain cylinder when you did have a p0303 for example and they verified it. from what I've seen clogged cats can cause a misfire as well.
