Default 370z warm start problem

Hey guys new to the forum but I have searched a bit and haven't found much. I have 7at 2014 Z with a AAM CAI and muffler delete. My car has a problem when it warm starts. It starts up fine on a cold start (first start of the day) but when turned off for 30 minutes -1 hour it sounds like it is going to stall (has stalled twice) and sometimes will sputter. What do you guys suggest?

Have you scanned for any codes?

I haven't scanned but I haven't had any CELs come up as of yet.

If I'm not mistaken, you could still have codes despite the lack of a CEL.
SouthArk370Z and Wilson2608 like this.

Went to the dealership. No codes and they couldn't replicate the problem.

Probably a intake leak. Check your AAM CAI.

I had the same issue you are talking about. I would purchase a fuel pressure gauge from cjm or z1 to see what your fuel pressure is doing. After checking all the above statements, you or a dealership will have to dive into the horrible fuel tank to check lines or filter strainer. Does the fuel pump whine? Could be a bad check valve, fuel pressure regulator, but with your car being A 14' I don't think those parts could go bad so soon, but then again it could.

I had this problem although I was boosted and Uprev tuned and it turned out to be the fuel "trims" needed an adjustment.

Clean throttle bodies valves, the gunk has accumulated.

I'm not tuned yet and my throttle bodies are clean. I'll have to check the fuel pressure if it acts up again. The dealer said they adjusted the idle slightly and I haven't had a problem since, but then again I haven't driven it much since then.

Clean filters????? Then nissan needs to get a hold of a log to see where the problem lies...rather than bumping up idle from 600rpm up to 700 rpm
