I've not got the exact setup you have so I'm not sure this will work for you. I'm running the HD CSC and a south bend light weight flywheel. I experience some chatter on initial takeoff, but not too bad. Driving slowly in 1st or 2nd, lugging the engine causes some chatter as well. Very slight noise at idle when warm.
You can remove some of the play at the top of the pedal by adjusting the stopper / cruise control switch. Loosen the lock nut, 14mm, and rotate the switch assembly. You may need to disconnect the crusie switch if you need to turn the switch more that a turn or two. To raise the operating range of the clutch, you can adjust the master cylinder rod. Loosen the lock nut, 12mm, and rotate the rod clockwise not more than one turn max. This may take a few adjustments to get it right as it's pretty sensitive. My pedal did the same thing when I drove it home from the shop, it would stick coming up, and my clutch operating range was way to close to the floor for me. Be sure to leave a little free play at the top of the pedal, 1/2in or more. |
