Default Rpm gauge is way off for no reason??

Currently driving downtown Cincinnati and looked at my rpm gauge and it's 3k off. It's idling and driving perfectly normal. What's going on? It's a 2016 sport 6 speed with 13,000 miles. I've never had any issues before.
The picture shows I'm at 4100 rpm and I'm actually idling at normal idle.

Well I had to stop and get gas. I shut it off and turned it back on and now it's fine. Still really weird though

I would take a video of it if happens again so you have proof there's an issue.

The Z's under warranty so if needed use it you paid for it.
DEpointfive0 and Memphis370Z like this.

I'll definitely take a video if it does it again, idk why I didn't take video the first time...
Once I got the car home I shut it off and turned it back on again and the engine sounded rough for a split second when it first turned over. I pulled my phone out and started to video tape it while I turned it off and started it up again and of course I didn't do it for the video.
I'm gonna take it to Nissan on Monday and see what they say.
The car is completely stock, muffler delete only.
