Have you checked the cable driver if properly installed? I know you said windows makes noise when you plug in the cable to the computer. Making a sound does not

I know you said windows makes noise when you plug in the cable to the computer. Making a sound does not mean the computer recognized the device you plug in. The noise means the computer see a plug device.
