Default Possible csc failure

So Yesturday I was on my way to work and suddenly my clutch lost all pressure and would not go into any gears. I coasted to the nearest exit ramp where I hit a red light. Luckily a homeless guy with a small dog on his shoulder decided to help me push my Z up hill. As we started going down hill I jumped back in and the clutch was just limp at the bottom. I was able to get it in first gear and somehow hit all green lights and made it to a Nissan specialist, which was closed of course. They will be open Monday so I Will have them diagnose to see what's going on.
Now if the CSC has failed I'm going to be very upset with Nissan as this is the second time my Z has left me stranded since the warranty has expired. I also had the steering lock fail on me last year and Nissan sent me a $500 check after I raised hell for it not being recalled. My Z is a 2010 with 53k miles there should not be this many serious problems, as the car is not old and does not have a lot of miles on it. This may be my last straw with Nissan after this is repaired I'm seriously thinking of selling my car. Nissan should be recalling these common issues and them just ignoring their customers concerns makes me lose all respect for them.

Sounds like your CSC. It fails eventually in our cars. If your going to replace it might as well get a HD CSC from Z Speed and and a new master cylinder while your at it.

How much do you think labor will cost on doing those?

I would expect in the neighborhood of $1,000. Its not a long job if you have all of the equipment though. I did mine in my garage over a weekend.

You have to replace the master cylinder at the same time. Also, if you want to replace the clutch and flywheel, it'll never be easier.

Copy that, I will be at the shop in the morning and will have them quote me on everything. I'm thinking I'll go Z speed on everything but depends on the labor. I moved last year and left all my tools behind, so unfortunately I'll have to let this Nissan specialist (ernestos Nissan specialist in Vegas) do all the work.

**Update** just got back to the shop they are strong to steer me away from the after market csc. They stated they recently replaced one on a 370z and the guy came back two weeks later with the same problem. They said if they go all oem, which would be slave, master, clutch, and resurface flywheel for about $1700 to $1900. They stated labor would be 4.5 hours.
