Isn't that just the helper spring that we all remove anyway? Did it come off the side of the pedal?

If your CSC is on its way out, not having the spring may cause it to wear a bit quicker. Do yourself a favor, buy the RJM pedal, as well as a replacement HD CSC from ZSpeed for if and when your CSC goes out, lol
