Weird, guess different tuners dyno different. Ive ashtrays heard 4th.

I'm driving it around -- just hit 400 miles on it. Hope to get another 300-400 this weekend, then do an oil change and tune for 100 octane. At that point, I'll have dyno numbers for everyone.

General impressions so far: the idle is a little rough, but honestly not bad at all. It has an aggressive character that, combined with the LTHs and Bassani exaust produce a very nice tone. The car has lots of torque, we had to reduce the throttle mapping a bit in 1st and 2nd to make it more manageable. Here's a first drive video:



I'm looking at 9/5 for the first track day, at Laguna Seca.

Sounds good. I wonder what it sounds like in the 7K RPM range. Guess we will have to wait and see after the break in process.

I'll actually be in SF this weekend, wonder if the wife would be annoyed dif I tried to meet up to hear how idling sounds, haha.

After fixing the tone ring, I gained power and torque (go figure, lol). Right now it's sitting at ~335 hp and 290 tq on 91 octane. I'll do one more track day and then get it tuned for 101 octane. Will post up dyno graphs when I do. Should be mid December.

Oh, I forgot to add...once we fixed the timing problem, the idle became super smooth...way better than stock, in fact! You can hear a little chatter in the video above, but that's from the OSG clutch.

290 is a good amount if trq. Do you have a baseline with tbe lths etc, but no cams?

Unfortunately, no. But bone stock, with only an EcuTek tune, I was at 285 hp / 240 tq.

Bet you can feel that torque coming out of a corner. :driving:

Oh yeah! Takes some getting used to, LOL!

The CJM fuel system works like a champ too...no problem accelerating out of a hard right turn anymore, even with a quarter tank of gas.

Any chance were going to see the S2 cams soon?

Im not going to make any promises be we are working our hardest to make it happen as soon as we can.
