Default 2009 370z Oil Consumption

Hey all, new here and interested in getting a 370z. I found one with 25,000 miles on it for $20,988 at a local dealership.

I am currently driving a 09 Civic Si that I had full bolt ons, Intake, Header, Exhaust, Supercharger, Tune making 280-300 whp. Thing moved pretty quick not sure how the 370z stacks up against that but it is time for something new and RWD.

Anyway, I have read some things about the 2009 model year 370z has sometimes problems with burning up to 1qt of oil per 1000 miles and even more.

My question is what are my chances I will be going through this much oil for this year? Should I wait to see if I can get a newer model year?

Also the CSC scares me heavily but I will eventually do the Z-Speed Upgraded CSC.

I have an '09 with 88,000 miles on it and go through very little oil.

Here's one of possibly many threads relating to it. I haven't heard as much about it as I did when I had a 350 though.

My 2009 uses NO oil at all, but only 34K on odometer, so YMMV. I baby the thing seldom go above 5K unless its an accident with the SRM and touching a lower gear. I know pitiful, but hey it cost a lot!
