Well, reading your OP sounds to me like its happening to mine. I would pass a car and mash on the pedal and the rev light would light up for a second or two before it would go. It sounds like its bouncing on the rev limit.
I'll be going out later today so I'll try and replicate it. |
never seen my rev/shift light illuminate when applying full throttle...it may have logged a fault code; my shift light doesn't come on till around 7400rpm's & shifts @ 7500 by itself-in (D)...the shift light is adjustable and has nothing to do with the shift point of the car;;;it's just a reminder.
But what you are explaining is something different.....flashing a couple seconds before it goes. Does the rpm's ramp up while it's not going? |

I wish there was a way to retro fit 350z hr 5at in the 370. The gearing inside the 370at is not a good. And 4th-7th are worthless |

4th is good for 125 5th is good for 175 (pending speed limiter removed) 7th is for fuel milage oh;i left out 6th,,,,,that's for the few-who have the balls to go 200mph ty, |

Edit: Just got back from doing a gym run and punched it while cruising at 30 and it seemed to shift correctly. I believe it only did that for me while cruising at a higher speed going 60. Maybe it had to do with how hot the weather was too cause it was only 65 out. |

try cruising at 65 & stomp the gas;should drop back to 3rd & upshift around 85'ish there is normally a slight delay before it takes off-but shouldn't rev up until it downshifts. |
