Default Automatic transmission service intervals

You'll have to excuse me if this is a stupid question, as it's the first automatic I've owned.

I'm looking in my service guide and setting up the intervals in my car app. I don't see anything that says to replace the trans and diffy fluids. It only says to inspect them every 30000/24.

Do these fluids not need changing?

I had my 7AT flushed at 20-something thousand miles - mainly to get rid of any crap from break-in. Probably overkill but it did seem to shift better afterward.

For most DDs, I'd say having the 7AT flushed every 50-75k miles should be fine. More often if you drive hard; less often if you baby it. YMMV (probably as many opinions on this as there are people heehee).

75k sounds good. 85% of my driving I'd highway.

Now I have to figure out how to check it. I don't see the traditional dipstick under the hood.

There is no dip stick for the 7AT.

I recommend around 50K miles. At 70k ATF turns brown in color with moderate aggresive driving. I did change mine , EX35 and I have a dipstick. I also flushed it out both at the oil pan and transmission cooler.

I believe the G37 is worth changing ATF using ATF exchanger machine.

You can change it yourself, but you'll need the CONSULT tool I believe. Can easily fork out the ~185$ for a dealer to do it for you and be on the safe side. Had mine done around 55k + transmission cooler install.
