Default When does the ECU reset?

So I just finished a rather spirited run in M mode. The last few miles back I was tired and put the car in D mode and the ECU was shifting at some pretty high RPM's. I do the understand the learning, but when does it reset back to 'regular' shifting? Thanks guys.

As you begin to drive "normally" again in D, it will relearn and the shift points will lower. Usually, it doesn't take that long. When I take mine on the twistys and drive in M, before I'm half way home (2-3 miles with some stop lights/signs) in D, the tranny is shifting like it was before my little romp in the country.

The FSM may have that info. I don't recall it giving a specific timetable but it's been a while since I looked at the FSM. If nothing else, it will give you a better idea of how the 7AT operates.

Edit: As Memphis370Z says, it shifts out of "sport mode" rather quickly - gotta keep the MPG figure as high as possible.
