3.9:1 will help, 4.08:1 is better. My best lap times have been set with lowest FD ratio. Vmax with 4.08:1 is actually a little higher than with the OEM ratio

My best lap times have been set with lowest FD ratio. Vmax with 4.08:1 is actually a little higher than with the OEM ratio as the engine is higher in the rev-band and makes enough power to overcome air-resistance at 240-245kph
