Deadly combo?
Tune, 3.9 gears, FI LTH's, FI Exhaust, stillen G'3, FI oil cooler to keep temps down.

With the manual, I'd go 4:08's. They are cheaper & would be a bit better for the manual trans.

Nitrous and slicks and you have a low 11 second car

Thanks.

That would be pretty darn quick.

What you have listed is good for low 13s on a cold day. I see ur in Russia so many a cold day there! LuLz! No mention of tires, gauges, oil pump, bushings, weight reduction.... |
I'm in fl. Low 13's maybe with me behind the wheel. With those mods and a good driver I should at least be able to do 12.90's. I just dot believe a car with gears and should be putting down at least 315-330 to the wheels runs low 13's. Plans for the car are never to be at the drag strip. Setting it up to run on a track on day.

I just want to car to pull like hell in the upper ranges of the rpm band.

3.9:1 will help, 4.08:1 is better. My best lap times have been set with lowest FD ratio. Vmax with 4.08:1 is actually a little higher than with the OEM ratio as the engine is higher in the rev-band and makes enough power to overcome air-resistance at 240-245kph

As a new convert, go 4.08. Tracked mine this weekend(I have another thread in track section) for the first time with 4.08 FD. For an NA engine, it is basically everything this car should have always been imo.
|
Is it really that big of a difference with 3.9 and 4.08 gears? My only question regarding the 4.08 gears is nooone on here has anything to compared the 3.9 vs 4.08? track sessions, drag, and daily driven results
