As far as I can tell, the only difference is the SRM has two additional sensors to disconnect - Gear Lever Position Sensor and Speed Sensor (see Step 13 & 14). The gear lever position sensor appears to be part of the transmission assembly.

There does appear to be two different manual transmission part numbers. 320B0-1EA0B for Nismo and sport package models and 320B0-1EA0A for base models. Still no price difference at multiple websites. Found them as low as $1621.
