Default Kaaz Super-Q 2-way Diff

So I've had my Kaaz Super-Q 2-way diff installed now for about a month, and think it's time to give a review on my initial impressions. First off, I want to say thanks to Ray @ Kaaz who hooked me up and had it shipped out fast, and to Outlaw Automotive in Abilene, TX who installed it for me.

This thing is great. I've never had an aftermarket diff before, so I was worried that the 2-way would be too aggressive for daily driving. Honestly, it's barely noticeable. Parking lot chirps are there, but it's easy to avoid most the time by hitting the clutch and coasting into a space. Corners never felt so good. During spirited driving the car is planted and more controllable. I can keep the rear of the car behind me while cornering, or let it slide. It's my choice. With the open/VLSD, I had to make correction mid-corner on every turn. I was concerned about driving in the rain with it, but so far I've found that it actually improves rain driving (as long as you're just cruising).

Probably the biggest advantage I've found is that it takes excuses away. While drifting in a parking lot, I used to blame the open diff or VLSD for my spin-outs. Now, I can feel the errors as I make them, and learn from them.

I bought into the fear that the aftermarket diffs were only good for the track, and put it off for a while. I thought I'd have some regrets. I worried that after the install the car would sit in the driveway, only being taken out when I found empty parking lots on weekends. I was wrong, as the only regret I have is not getting it sooner.
