this is correct!

the more natural feel might help you ride the clutch a little less though because the peal is more responsive/has more feeling with the clutch engaging and disengaging.

I installed the spring today and the pedal feel has definitely improved. Makes driving so much easier/smoother.

IMO this is the best $20 you can spend on your Z.
