Put this spring on my 13 yesterday. Gotta say it's worth doing. Now clutch pedal is a little soft on top (not a negative), which makes it feel like you depress the clutch less=possible faster shifts, and has much better feel in the clutch.
Others have said it's very easy to do and takes just a few minutes, however if it's your first time, it will take longer. You need to be a contortionist to get under there and depress the clutch with one hand remove the clip/pin and replace. Plus you do need to get good lighting under there. I ended up using a stick to depress the clutch & wedge it against my seat so my hands could be free to remove/replace the clip & pin. Also, only need to remove the top clip & pin to replace the spring, no need to remove both. Thanks, LMBmikeZ |
