Yes they are still available!

Just put the spring in today, much better, can actually feel the grabbing point in the peadal instead of relying on the feedback from the car motion.

Glad you and the others are liking it.

Bump still available!

Hi Mike,
I put "CLUTCH HELPER SPRINGS review" in search box and got no matches. Before I read 11 pages of bump and what not, Why do I want your springs over the ones I've got stock? The advantage? I know you would not made them just for a few hunderd dollars and lots of your time. |
Here's a link to one of the original threads that kinda got it all going...
http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...er-spring.html Any way in short best way to describe it. OEM spring: has a very non-responsive loose mushy feel to it, it is to easy to push in (I was coming from a 300zx with an aftermarket clutch so as soon as I bought I noticed it was off a lil). This is caused by the spring having a high compression rate. 72577 spring: has lighter compression rate making it harder to push in giving you more feel from the pressure plates. Making it more responsive, you might have to try harder to push it in but it is 100x easier to find that sweet spot with a lil more feedback! Hope that helps, I'll post and PM this. |
payment sent!

Put this spring on my 13 yesterday. Gotta say it's worth doing. Now clutch pedal is a little soft on top (not a negative), which makes it feel like you depress the clutch less=possible faster shifts, and has much better feel in the clutch.
Others have said it's very easy to do and takes just a few minutes, however if it's your first time, it will take longer. You need to be a contortionist to get under there and depress the clutch with one hand remove the clip/pin and replace. Plus you do need to get good lighting under there. I ended up using a stick to depress the clutch & wedge it against my seat so my hands could be free to remove/replace the clip & pin. Also, only need to remove the top clip & pin to replace the spring, no need to remove both. Thanks, LMBmikeZ  |
NP!
Just glad to see another person enjoy their Z just that little bit more :tiphat: |
Just installed this spring and it works wonders. Makes it a lot more drivable now.

:tup:glad to hear!
I am happy every time I start my car and feel that little extra resistance, gives it more of that sports car feel IMO:driving: |

Get them while I still have them! Once they are gone I'm not ordering any more, my contact that got me the deal way back has moved to Germany and is no longer with the company I was ordering through. So I bought the last of my order from him before he left. I think I have approx 40 left! thanks Jon! I know everyone always says they love the way the new spring feels. |
^Hey Mike, I am down for 2 sets, will send payment.
