As for your gear grinding issue it sounds like you have a clutch related problem. If you bought your car from a dealership, I would take it to them and

As for your gear grinding issue it sounds like you have a clutch related problem. If you bought your car from a dealership, I would take it to them and have them fix it under warranty then double check your transmission as well if this has been happening for an extended period of time.
