No issues with the strut tower brace. The EDFC motors are very low profile and sink pretty deep into the top of the struts. I believe the EDFC motors are the same and just the controllers is what's different. The wires can be in the way so you'll have to cable tie them down using your best judgment so they stay out of the way.
