You just need to reset the SRS computer. It goes like this: turn the car ON without starting- watch the air bag light- it stays on for about 7 seconds

You just need to reset the SRS computer.
It goes like this: turn the car ON without starting- watch the air bag light- it stays on for about 7 seconds (before it starts flashing) then shuts off. Turn the car OFF- (as soon as the light shuts off) wait 5 seconds and turn the car ON again, watch the airbag light, as soon as it shuts off, turn the car OFF, wait 5 seconds, turn the car ON again, watch the light, turn OFF again. If you got the sequence right, when you start the car the next time both lights should be off. The sequence needs to be repeated 3 times. If not, start over.
