AIRBAG LIGHT after install :(
 

So did an install of a JVC KW-V20BT this weekend -- overall , went ok and it works!!

however, on the way to work this morning the Mrs has informed me that "the airbag light" is blinking :( -- actually both dash light and the passenger airbag light (next to the radio, which you have to take off for install) ... is there a way it needs to be reset?

just a matter of not connected back up you think, or could it be something else?? none of the wiring for the radio are airbag related, so I'm pretty sure I didnt cut anything , and all the wires were on the exisiting harness anyway ...

You just need to reset the SRS computer.
It goes like this:
turn the car ON without starting- watch the air bag light- it stays on for about 7 seconds (before it starts flashing) then shuts off. Turn the car OFF- (as soon as the light shuts off) wait 5 seconds and turn the car ON again, watch the airbag light, as soon as it shuts off, turn the car OFF, wait 5 seconds, turn the car ON again, watch the light, turn OFF again. If you got the sequence right, when you start the car the next time both lights should be off. The sequence needs to be repeated 3 times. If not, start over.
