Have to love parts commonality. Would be a nice and easy addition to put on the NISMO stock.

Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, bur the battery needs to be disconnected first, before you unplug the original switch and the GTR switch in, right?

oops, I didn't even think to disconnect mine.:icon14:

I definitely did NOT disconnect my battery, and I had no issues.

Didn't disconnect mine either. No problems afterwards.:tiphat:

15 Minutes Flat
 

Installed mine today in about 15 minutes with a small, flat-blade screwdriver wrapped in tape. Played it safe and disconnected the battery first and took my time to insure no marring or scuffs.

Best low-buck mod to my car next to the shift boot.

I ordered mine today. I will post pics when I install it. :D

That's about what I paid for mine on Amazon. Right now they've got one on there for $38.

Took me 10 mins...well, really only about 1 min., the other 9 wasted trying to push the old button out the wrong way from the ring:facepalm:

Hey guys,

I tried doing it this way but my button was not budging AT ALL. I was trying to pop it out for a while and but no luck. I had to go the long way... works like a charm and looks great. If anyone reads this and has a 2012 tech/sport package like I do, there is one additional screw holding the front shield (where the air vents and such are connected to) I wish I took pics while I was doing this.

Thanks for the shortcut! Installed in 10 mins, would've been 5 but, I got scared the 1st attempt. I didn't want to mar the area around it!!!

This is a much better way to go about the install. If you don't have a trim removal tool borrow or buy one. It helps with everything. Thank you for the tip, this should be stuck to the top 24/7. Thanks!
