The cool thing is it marks whatever spot you first hit report. Them you can take your time filling out the details as you zip along. The report marks the spot way back there where you started navigating report menus. IOW drive safe!!!

I started using it a couple of weeks ago after seeing it on this thread. I love this app! It could use a button to report azzhole drivers though. (People who ride too close, lane hop, cut you off then brake check you, ricers driving too fast with the spare tire on, texting or talking on the phone...), but it works great. I wish all apps worked this well. I've been telling my friends and family about it. The more people that use it, the better it works. Too cool.

It does use a lot of power. I make sure to keep the car charger handy whenever I use it.

The more we "use and report" the better it works. I feel like I'm on a cop hunting trip whenever I drive now. That is fun!

I started using the app after seeing this thread. it's great.

quick question- is the update rate when it comes to other drivers' locations slow for everyone else? like if you see another user, their location doesn't update for 30 seconds or more?

That's how it is for everyone. There's two reasons for that. A) their servers can't handle updating everyone's position every few seconds and B) privacy (do you really want everyone to know exactly where you are)

I have started using this myself.

Pretty good.

It got confused on a 10 mile strech where I was on the Interstate and then it thought I was off of it. Kept telling me to get back on!!!! I was wondering if I was bouncing between 3G & 4G?

I had a short roadtrip this weekend (2.5 hours each way) and I was suprized to see how many other Wazers were on the road.

I use it for all my trips now because I am trying to build up points.

I have to use the car charger though -- it eats up the battery faster than the charger can charge with a Droid Bionic.

On iPhone the charger keeps battery full with WAZE always on.

I have had a similar issue of the app thinking I was off on a side road twice (out of hundreds of uses). Try resetting your phone. That helped when it happened to me.

Happy hunting!
